This doctor is a truly amazing doctor. He genuinely empathises with his patients and goes above and beyond. He is always kind honest and will always do his best for his patients. I didn’t know doctors as great as this actually existed I have been under him over 4 years and as complicated as my diagnosis and symptoms are he has never given up like many others he is always so apologetic when he can’t help soon enough even though it’s not his fault it’s the nature of my conditions if any member of staff in any medical department deserves an award and to be treasured by the nhs it is dr Szebenyi. Without a doubt without him I would of given up hope and become depressed or even suicidal due to the pain and symptoms I suffer but he continues to support and guide me through the process of diagnosis and treatment

I have been seeing Dr Szebenyi for nearly 4 and a half years nearly. He does listen and take on board what your saying but I find because I was only 19 at the time my symptoms etc wasn’t taken seriously. I was shrugged off. 4 years later and my symptoms have gotten worse , I’ve been referred to many other people , told I have this , that and the other . I get told I’m to young fir a certain illness (had a positive blood test) then been left. I will say he is very polite , but could take more care in explaining and actually caring about the patient .
